Giving Back

Now that the semester is wrapping up you have become part of the community, and your San Marcos family has taken you in and cared for you as our own. Consider volunteering if you can. Giving back doesn’t take much; it gives a sense of purpose and is also a great way to get to know your community and the citizens who live and work to keep it running.

Finding ways to give back to the San Marcos community may be something you have time for over the holiday break. For example, San Marcos Regional Animal Shelter and the PAWS Shelter in Kyle always need help with walking dogs.
