Housing

You should start looking into housing for summer and/or fall. Start exploring housing in the community. Be sure to check out the Guide to Living Off Campus (QR link below).

If you will be signing a lease, have an attorney with the Attorney for Students in the Dean of Students Office review your lease prior to signing your contract. There are many options for you to live off campus, so do not feel rushed to sign a lease right away.

Another option to explore is applying to be a Resident Assistant, also known as an RA, through the Department of Housing and Residential Life. This would give you an opportunity to not only work on campus but would also provide housing.

Pro Tip:

Texas State offers an off-campus housing fair this month for students who are looking for off-campus housing in the San Marcos area.
