With changes to mode of subsistence due to continuous transformation of society, one wonders what it would take to keep and sustain the Mwaghavul people and their culture. What would the death of Mwaghavul mean for linguistic and cultural diversity in general?
- It is important to be cognizant of the course of language death. Given the shift of allegiance to other more powerful and institutional languages, what are the critical factors threatening Mwaghavul’s linguistic vitality?
